How are kids dying every day digging up precious metals for foreign companies to get rich? How are your own mines not controlled by the government? Can someone explain to me like I'm 5?

Not to sound weird, but sometimes I think we're cursed or something. I know our people went through a lot, but so did everyone else. Countries like Singapore and South Korea are great examples. These countries aren't perfect yet are still centuries ahead.

I'm just sad about our material conditions across the diaspora. I don't know why I'm getting cooked. From the Americas to Africa, we're always struggling, it's seems like there is no hope. I understand how imperialism and colonization work. Thanks and bye.

@Roselover_R These countries aren't independent, most are under sovereignty with cut off from trade between the continent itself. Most of the politicians aren't even working for the for the country, they are working for the west. The one who did fight against it were killed.

@Roselover_R One of the things we don't understand is that, most of these minerals are given value because they belong to whites. The day blacks ever own these mines, whites will lose interest and will all lose value. These are just mostly stones given value.

@Roselover_R Neo colonialism, corruption, greed, selfishness of leaders are the reason. Nigeria has the highest GDP in Africa yet the GDP per Capita is one of the lowest. Very sad
