Learning the bible will convert more away from Christianity than any other book. You can't prove Moses is Satan with Shakespeare. You can with John.
Why are you quoting the bible to an atheist? Don't you understand we don't believe in your god or bible claims? Unless you can present some testable evidence for your god, you may as well be quoting the Simpsons.

I think I'm going to start reading Hamlet and McBeth so I can start quoting it to Christians. If we are going to quote fictional literature I would prefer The Bard.

The thing is, most atheists have no interest in converting anyone away from religion. That’s a Xtian thing. Most atheists are like, believe what you want, just don’t bother me with it.

Colour me intrigued. Please make your case for the devil not being the accuser, ha-satan. What or who is the devil, by your reading? I read the serpent as the inner deceiver, the snake-oil seller swallowing his own tall tale. As far as I can see, he is the father of lies.

I was raised in a Catholic school. I liked reading a lot, and read the bible multiple times. It didn't take long to start to realize some things.
I left the church completely eventually.
