@PETERJAYYYY @ahshudupayaface Labour inherited a healthy economy, unlike 2010, then added the proceeds from the sale of our gold reserves. They then spent this on public services and infrastructure instead of energy independence and wages. We really needed to invest in creating uk wealth 🤔🇬🇧

Yes, it could have brought in more if sold later, but equally, could have dropped in value. But the £23 billion was used to undo much of the Tory under-investment.
