@Winterflan I think the disconnect comes from the fact that way more fast food places are just cheaper than going grocery shopping. Especially when you live in a place where there are only big named places and no local small businesses anymore.

@Winterflan Not only do they donate money to anti-LGBT, the Kathys actively threatened to pull funding from Berry College if they made their LGBT&allies club official when I attended 2007-2011. It’s not just a knee jerk response, but a calculated goal. No positive rebranding of them for me

@Winterflan Ultimately what all this comes down to is a poor understanding of how franchising works I think. Chick-fil-A as a company doesn't sell chicken, it sells real estate and marketing packages. Homophobic donors receive very very little of the 5 dollars I spend on my sandwich.
