He's not going to be convicted. There are simply too many Republicans that are too afraid of Trump & the sway he has over his followers. They'll make the mathematical choice between enforcing the law & surviving a primary challenger. And pathetic as it is, duty is going to lose.

I know I should be enraged, disgusted, horrified, and outraged. On some level I am all of those things, but mostly right now I’m heartbroken.

Honestly? Not much, I'm afraid. I don't like seeing Trump escape accountability for his actions yet again either... but I don't see any legal remedy beyond conviction. The only thing that we could do is to make him as irrelevant as possible by eroding his celebrity.

With the greatest of regret, you’re absolutely right. And it will further feed the contagious virus of misinfo & conspiracy which is burning through to us in the U.K. These proceedings should have included expert witnesses like psychologists & they should have put T on the stand.

I sadly agree. Too many entitled Americans who don’t have two nickels to rub together but believe they are somehow superior to others and want to keep it that way so they elect on privilege not thinking how their votes are demolishing our democracy.
