In Africa, some claim that attacks on LGBTQ+ people are in line with 'African values.'
But homophobia is not an African value.
Across the continent and the world, there has always been diversity in sexuality.
To end epidemics, we must build more just & equal societies.
Too often, the people most vulnerable to disease are the same people who don’t have access to health care because of stigma, discrimination, or gender inequality.
