Our family was fortunate to sit with Coach Moeller and his wife during the celebration of Coach Schembechler's career. My Dad a former football coach had a great evening discussing football with Coach Moeller. They were both very gracious to our family.

I just spoke his name earlier today! He was one of favorite Coaches at Michigan. I felt he was the Coach who officially brought MICHIGAN out that three yards and a cloud of dust era. In my opinion. My condolences to his family.

So sad! Even as a Spartan I had great admiration for coach Moe, he did a great job at Michigan and deserved to be retained by the Lions after going 3-2 as interim coach in 2000. Condolences to his family, R.I.P. 🙏🏻🏈

I remember Coach Moeller speaking to all of us way back in the day when I attend football camp in 1987 & 1988. Seems like yesterday. RIP.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Gary Moeller. He was an incredible man. I admired him as a wonderful husband and father, incredible leader of young men, and as one of the very best to ever coach college football. I loved Gary Moeller. We have lost a great man.

Gary was a close friend of mine since 1972. He was always kind and welcoming. I have never been more Proud of a friend's accomplishments as when Gary replaced Bo. He took me and Andy to basketball games at Crisler Arena in his white Thunderbird. God Bless Gary and his family.
