Dragon Ball/DBZ was the first thing I ever became hyper-fixated with. It inspired me to do so many things, and it lasted until I was an adult. This one hurts. Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama, and thank you so much for all the magic you gave us. β™₯οΈπŸ‰

@Trickywii Words can not express how much this man has done for an uncountable number of people, how many he has brought together in passion and awe. He leaves as a legend and will be remembered as such. May the light of a thousand Kamehamehas guide your way oh great one.

@Trickywii DBZ is the single largest catalyst for normalizing anime/manga in the west. Almost everyone's first weeb moment was pretending to do a Kamehameha. Without him, so much modern pop culture would vanish and its not a stretch to say we wouldn't have a western vtubing scene rn.

@Trickywii I know the feeling. Dragon Ball and DBZ were my introduction to anime growing up in the 90s, and I have been a fan since then. It is still one of my favorite franchises to this day. He was an absolute legend, and his work will always be treasured!
