I object ma, they are Christians and they don’t claim to be going against the church but rather against Biodun Fatoyinbo. To spin it as going against the church is mischievous.
@TolulopeAyeni
First of all “the church” is in quotation marks... meaning he’s a representation of the church as they’ve been singing. Going after him is going after the structure.
It’s not rocket science to know that.
@blvck_cookiee
Maybe you should say COZA Church, to say “church” or “the Church” is to include me and all other well meaning believers. I find it very mischievous and a desperate bid to put all church people in the same basket as Biodun Fatoyinbo.
@wildeyeq
Abeg this talk no be am, there are several pastors and thousands of church people on her side, except a section of CAN and COZA has become the definition of church then that premise is falsehood.
@wildeyeq
And many have done that, many of those that protested are believers, many of those that have called for Justice are believers, the Dakolos are believers. We are the church, so abeg lets dead this narrative that is the Dakolos against the church.
@TolulopeAyeni
That's where they got it all wrong, as Christians, they should have played the love Card, rather they played the revenge card. And now even if she was a victim, God cant repay her no more.
"The wrath of man cannot work the righteousness of God "
@TolulopeAyeni
I'm a Christian and I CAN assure you they're up against more than that man
Remember CAN coming out to support the accused, that's just a reflection of the forces they're going against
@TolulopeAyeni
@MeccaUS
Its not just mischievous, its plain dishonesty & agenda-setting.
The aim: to whip up sentiments against a group nay religion that propagates the gospel of salvation & holiness, that is perhaps very repugnant to her way of life & beliefs.
