@TokensArcade Well, it raises the question, do you do it for others or, for yourself? Your gut is probably correct, but if it makes you fulfilled in and of itself, then it doesn't matter either way.

@OhNoitsNKS I do love small/private room parties and I first started doing it myself because there was one MFF where the person who did it previously couldn't do it that year, So on the spot I took the reins for it to happen again. I enjoy it! but also might want a break for a con or two

@TokensArcade Its half true but maybe not in the way you think. Some people are only there for themselves or what they can get out of you, but that doesn't mean there is not real people too. You gotta work out who is who and which ones are worth putting the time into.

@TokensArcade I low-key feel this on the opposite end of the spectrum. I don’t organize things or make plans and as a result I tend to be kind of a free agent in terms of socializing, and that I’m not really -wanted- anywhere, that, at best, I’m just kind of accepted because I’m a warm body.
