very kind of "bandai namco filmworks" to "let the fans enjoy speculating about
#g_witch
without being prescriptive" about what two girls promoting honeymoon vacation spots and wearing rings on their left ring fingers and having a sister call the other one sister-in-law could be
@kumikats
it's just full nonsense exec meddling to me just fully some garbage coward old men ruining it for basically everyone who worked hard on that show and now all I can wonder is how many things being weird and badly paced was caused by executive meddling
@zetsubouzhainu
the editors of a magazine forgot to redact one of the seiyuu saying they're married in the print version but removed it for the web version and they've just completely shot themselves in the foot the jig is up and they just have to humiliate themselves
@ToastCrust
i cant even bring myself to be mad about this because its literally impossible to deny. itd be like if they published a statement saying that whether the guy suletta squashed like a bug was still alive was up to interpretation.
@ToastCrust
i can understand why if they were forced to change it if it was a company/higher management decision. i think it's just to satisfy some other regions but the creators still made it as clear as day for anyone with 2 braincells to put 2-2 together. still, i wish they stuck to it
@ToastCrust
Well at least it makes for good evidence next time someone wants to wrote a thesis on why gay is still just considered fetish bait in mainstream mediums in Japan and is still barely making progress
@ToastCrust
I haven't even watched the series yet (though clearly I'm aware of the relationship), but my god, Bandai has literally released merch of the two that straight-up matches the other "romantic pairs" merch from, like, Seed. How can you spin "open to interpretation" out of that?!
@ToastCrust
i don't even like gundam and i'm upset, the whole dinamic between the two is really clear since episode one ... how the eff is that up to interpretation?
