btw cover's response to this was basically "we believe what we're paying the talents matches their hard work" so this isn't like a total doomer thing
it's more just a slightly nice thing to hear everyone's being paid an amount that apparently the evil people think is "very high"
hololive shareholders complaining that the talents are being compensated too much for how little merchandise is being moved makes me know I've backed the right horse
@ToastCrust
Comparatively they pay them insanely low if you're really into numbers in general. Here's a comparison that might boil your blood.
Films on Netflix need at least 70M Views to be considered a "Blockbuster". If you compare the unique viewers of your b level famous hololive chooba
@Chiaki747
it's a nice story but also reminds me I'm entirely right to still think going public is a mistake even if that's the way these things naturally go when they're big enough
@ToastCrust
I feel like the most correct response would have been finding a polite way to say "then fuck off, and we'll have our people find a new partner who respects the company to buy out your shares". Wasn't the whole point of the limited ipo being able to pick and choose who bought in?
