I Always Liked Sneakers... But I "Came Into The Game" strong in 2013, the days when Sneaker Magazines were popping. "Sneaker Collections" weren't consisted of sneakers from the past 3 years but shoes 10+ Years old. PEs, Autograph Sneakers, and more... That Period is Gone its SAD

They did it all wrong. At one point nike was saying 3s were no longer getting made ever. Now they dropping the same pair at least twice since then. They watered down the worth.

There isn’t gate keeps in the Sneaker Industry that is why it is the way it is lol. I am not here to set a mold because when I came in I didn’t care for gate keepers either. I am just looking back and appreciating some the things that once were. The games changed and rode wit it

2019 was like the last year I really cared about sneakers. I still get my must haves tho. Now I might buy 6 pair in a year but Yo videos still keep me locked in what’s going on in the shoe world, cause I be out the loop foreal 😂

But it's not really gone as you can see by the comments. We're still here, We're just drowned out by what's trendy. It's almost like the OG sneakerheads need our own space away from the hypebeast and people that use the term bricks.

Having penny1s or some obscure shoes like Agassi’s, there was a lot of depth and substance, but now it’s just whoever has the most hype in the closet.

I think whats lost about this is cost of “vintage shoes” now a days. No one wants to do fair trades, people want StockX price for everything and beyond. I guess I’m one of your new age “collectors” with a closet full of 3 year old shoes… weird.
