I believe music n artists that are extensively covered in blogs, interviews, forums and archive sites are gonna have much longer legacies than artists who rely on the algorithim and social media engagement to keep their careers afloat

Think of the Caretaker, I truly believe that project wouldnt be so popular if it wasnt loved by critics n bloggers first. Like yea the algorithim boosted it, but it had the standing it did cuz so many ppl already cared abt the music n concept.

Having a fanbase n ppl who actually engage w/ ur music > virality in almost all cases.

@TianaHRR I understand what you mean. How will you suggest to go on the route where you get explored naturally and get a fanbase without algorithm or social media? Because I too hate algorithms too lol.

@TianaHRR Lame that in order to exist as an artist others are forced to care.. life is too short for art to be a discourse. Just create
