The Russell Westbrook slander has gotten out of hand. People need to remember he chose OKC when others were leaving.
The man's loyal. He was in a good place here.

In 2 years (I hope) we will need a veteran who can be a leader for the locker room and help guide our young players into the playoffs and hopefully finals. I’m wanting that player to be Russ.
@ThunderNationCP
He did ask out too though halfway thru the contract, PG got traded first but they both asked (demanded) out, and im glad they did bcuz of the trade value they got but gotta tell the wholr story not just the 1st half
@ThunderNationCP
Man was an athlete who got OKC national pub, but the whole narrative is that he cost the
#Thunder
at least one, maybe 2 titles by his stubbornness driving off KD (& others), it's no secret that if he had listened to the coaching staff he would have been a better teammate.
@ThunderNationCP
I love Russ and what he did for OKC, but I’ve realized since he left that he kinda was a cancer on the court. Not really a team player. I just hope the Thunder don’t bring him back. Maybe the last year of his career, but not now.
@ThunderNationCP
He was number one in all categories but points this year on the Lakers. Russell is a good basketball player but a media scapegoat

@ThunderNationCP
Are oklahoma people bashing him? I’ve not been following this, but if so that ain’t right! I’m in Okc, and everyone I know still loves Russ!
@ThunderNationCP
He stayed here in OKC because he ran everyone else out of town wanting to prove he was the superstar. Granted, he played like a superstar when everyone left but no one in their right mind ever thought he could take the Thunder to a championship by himself.
