She's done photoshoots in various places. She's sat on Santa's lap (I'm sure she asked for noodles and steak) She always behaves in public and loves people, especially kids. She should have been a therapy dog.
I asked Molly yesterday if she was tired of everything.
She looked at me.
I asked if she wanted to go where Tommy went so she can feel like herself again.
She walked over and sat on my foot and smiled. She knows it's time to go.
She finally told me.
She goes to the vet Monday.
We're going to have a weekend of spoiling her and taking her for pup cups and a cheeseburger and grilling steak for her. One last hurrah for her. She'll get some naps in too.
She's ready and as much as it hurts we will let her go soon.
I love this baby. She's had a long, full life. She made it past 14. From a puppy mill in Missouri to us here in northern Indiana, she's traveled, been to the beach, seen the ocean, played in snow, and swam.
She's done some modeling and product testing. She modeled for our mailbox (then in true corgi fashion judged it harshly) and tested the baby rocker for safety. She approved of the life vest and of course the Mollymobileβ’.
