Halo 5 had one of the best gameplay loops per content out of any game.
But there was a plastic coating on literally everything. Infinite has a better visual style. You're not doing anything here.

It was not a “plastic coating” the Spartans were blending in the maps so they had to adjust it.
It’s one of the reason why you don’t see pitch black Spartans.

Does halo 5 maintain the gameplay of other halo games? No. But it was still a damn fun game even warzone with its deeply flawed card system was a lot of fun. I would love for it to be remastered in some way for MCC but because of everyone shitting on it, it doesn’t seem likely.

The gameplay was movement mixed with the halo triangle on asymmetric and symmetrical maps.
Map control, map awareness and the weapon sandbox was the main focus for success.

Halo 5: When Spartans glowed in the dark, had bad limited armor design, and a new gun variant was a slap on paint job. H5 had good things just can't overlook the bad at times.
