FOUR YEARS? How can it be!
The Good Place finale is genuinely one of the finest exits of any TV show, done on their own terms, with nuance and no small amount of tears.
It is truly superb.

This scene still wrecks me every time.
The finale dropped a few weeks before my mother died. Being able to share Chidi's speech with her before she passed helped both of us a lot.

I started The Good Place right before I started college (which was 6 months after the finale released) and I've watched it at least 5 times in full since that first viewing! I love this show so much!!! 😭

Yep it was such A perfect fitting ending. Not many shows are signed off so well.

I started watching The Good Place the day after I finished Bojack Horseman and I would never recommend anyone else ever do that.
It's been over 2 years and I still haven't recovered.
