Seriously though, would we even have the same relationship with work if everyone could choose how much they did and when, & the costs associated with it were covered by the state? It shouldn't feel like a burden. It should be a choice you make to improve yourself or your society.

The only answer left would be "make unemployment comfortable and reduce the stigma that surrounds it. Ensure that work is optional and unemployment isn't seen as bad," but I have a feeling that he wouldn't like that either haha.

My moms friend lives in Wales and she makes less money working than using the assistance she gets from the government but she still does it because she enjoys it.
