On this day in History Nov 22nd 1963, Pres John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
The next day, Pres Johnson issued his 1st proclamation, declaring Nov 25th a day of national mourning.
Leaders of 99 nations gathered for the state funeral. Kennedy was buried with full military honors

In my early 20s I produced a photo story of Dealey Plaza. The images were captured in b/w with a Pearl Seagull 2.25X2.25 medium format. It’s haunted by the tonality and the invisible present of that day. No one in the shots. No cars. No people. Only peace.
