My ex used to use the silent treatment as a way of punishment. He knew how bad my anxiety was and wouldn't respind to me for days at a time.
Now when people don't answer me I immediately panic in fear.
Emotional abusive relationships really fuck you up, even years later.

I noticed I have Ptsd from mine
He will make loud noises and I fuss at him.
It is from him throwing things, breaking them, and it makes a loud noise

Need to catch those red flags early on and dump the bums. No amount of love for someone is worth being treated like shit. I learned that long ago.

Yes it really does. I've been through every kind of abuse possible so I know your pain. I have been there. That's why I say emotional and verbal abuse are worse than physical because flesh bruises heal much faster than psychological bruises.

It's been 7 years since my divorce and I'm still dealing with the effects of the emotional and mental abuse I was put through by my ex. We're all in it together
