I have to say this to all the Clemson people that are just waking up and realizing basketball season is in full swing. BASKETBALL IS NOT FOOTBALL. Teams lose games. This fire Brad phenomenon is limited to Clemson at a school where they are CLEARLY second fiddle to football.…

@T_Oglesby22 Also, why are you hating on UConn. Guess what they won on the road last night. The only top 5 team to win this week. But that doesn't count for anything. UConn is a very good team.

@B50114435 I wasn’t hating on UConn. They lost 8 games. That is a fact.

@T_Oglesby22 Those teams have not lost 3 in a row. I think it has more to do with the combination of losses and we have seen this movie before. Having said that, i still think this team is good enough to be top 3 in the conference and to get a high seed in the tourney.

@T_Oglesby22 Hmm ... don't see UConn on there anywhere. What happened when they went on the road last night?

@T_Oglesby22 And Butler won AT No. 11 Marquette. College hoops is way too volatile to ride it emotionally like an EKG strip. I attempt to keep this in mind (unsuccessfully) while watching another vexing Indiana basketball season.

@T_Oglesby22 Thanks for the breakdown of the situation, but let's not act like this is a consistent thing with BB with very few exceptions. Start off red hot, then take the traditional nose dive, tail spin, and fall of the cliff approach. Yes, upsets happen often, but this is habitual

@T_Oglesby22 It just seems to be the same old thing with Clemson. Come out swinging in December, everyone’s hopes get high. After the new year, the losses start to pile up. We need to be realistic that this is Clemson BB. It’s not over, but this is what it is….

@T_Oglesby22 Thanks T.O.! Good food for thought for all of those naysayers. This has been quite the volatile year so far and will probably continue to be. With all of the transfers and NIL the talent on teams is evening out.

@T_Oglesby22 Thoughts on the team now? Agree it’s basketball but need to get out of this funk ASAP. Team has roster to win ACC but 1-3 going to be uphill now

@T_Oglesby22 Can you breakdown Clemson’s offensive philosophy? Cause it looks like a lot of standing around, poor ball movement, & bad shot selections. And the defense which is supposedly his bread and butter is awful right now. He’s Clemson wins leader because of longevity. Nice guy though.

@T_Oglesby22 Also, we’ve lost 3 straight to top level coaching. Coach B has achieved a ton with not much. One-handed passes must stop. Movement to create space for shots must be intentional. And, go to the basket like an All American. Entire team can learn from Ian Schieffelin’s effort!

@T_Oglesby22 @QualkTalk If you have been the coach at Clemson for 14 years I sure would hope you are the winningest coach. That’s also not a tall task either. I get teams lose away from home. But losing 3 games in a row after watching this same movie for the last 14 years doesn’t provide much hope

@T_Oglesby22 When will accepting mediocrity stop??? This school has the resources and following to have a competitive program. But latching onto the hope that it will one day get better under Brad is insanity. Be better man and expect better.

@T_Oglesby22 The only difference with those others schools is they have collateral. Brownell and Clemson don’t. What is collateral? Making the NCAA Tournament. 3 times in 15 seasons does not allow a pass 🤷🏽‍♂️

@T_Oglesby22 This second fiddle argument is just an excuse. Sure football will probably always have a larger following. But if you put a competitive/successful product on the court that doesn’t collapse year in year out people will pack LJC.

@T_Oglesby22 The issue is 3 appearances in the tournament over 13 years. I have been following Clemson basketball since 1976 and know it is a hard job but with 68 teams that number needs to be in the 5-6 range and I agree we should have gone last year.
