@aaronharris @libsocengineer @BristolAFed Not everyone can buy, so there's the rental market. Someone has to own and maintain the properties. People think that it's like a magic cave or something someone found and stuffs people , into then takes their money. ;)

@hawknado @aaronharris @libsocengineer @BristolAFed The "not everyone can buy" is part of the joke. It's typically cheaper to buy than rent but banks get to decide you're too poor so you're not allowed to buy.

@StormKRB @aaronharris @libsocengineer @BristolAFed the US made HUGE amounts of loans to unqualified buyers in the late 90's. That went well. =)
