My heart and prayers go out to my main man and former Red Sox Pitcher Jim Corsi who is in the hospital battling liver cancer. May God bless him and his family.

I saw him out once and asked him to call my buddy (which I wouldn’t do now). He seemed so happy I was so happy to meet him. Was so great about it! Wishing him nothing but the best.

Jim grew up in the same neighborhood as I did in Newton. I was in Camden Yards when he played with the Sox. I yelled “Hey Mush” (a neighborhood term of affection sort of). He threw me the ball that he was warming up with. God Bless you Jim
