Is it better than using lutris? Any particular reason for doing this other than just having to launch both lutris and battlenet?

I would consider it easier as you’re going through the base launcher and no other 3rd party when launching it! But otherwise, they both offer similar outcomes.

For me the script got hung up when trying to install battle net so I just installed it manually.
I assume if I can get OW2 running fine then Diablo will be same process?

Interesting. I believe an update for the script was pushed to fix that hanging 2 days ago. And yes, should be the same process, just install Diablo!
