I think sheβs commenting on the adult cosplay culture (which is also linked to Potter), where people obsess over fantasy things rather than being adults and spending their time engaging in the real world and dealing with it and being responsible.

what she is saying is true. us millennials are really stunted. we live in nostalgia and we never grew up. with the internet were allowed to live in fandoms lol
