@SpcPlcyOnline Congress will choose whichever option spends more money in their constituencies. Science is secondary when the pork barrel beckons.

@SpcPlcyOnline @SciGuySpace It would make sense, it would save taxpayer dollars. Therefore, it will not happen. SLS is a HIGHLY successful program designed to pump taxpayer dollars to lobbying companies in all 50 states, and especially to put jobs and dollars into the state of Alabama. Why change now? /s

@SpcPlcyOnline @SciGuySpace Now, if only the mainstream press gave two $hits about space exploration and policy, this could make for a pretty decent bit of investigative journalism. I mean, is there even any national media in Boca Chica covering the impending Starhopper hop?

@SpcPlcyOnline @DJSnM Falcon Hvy: Pick me! Pick me! I'm ready! Pick Me! Congress: You're not bringing money in our states. We'll stick with the SLS. Falcon Hvy: 😰 Europa Clipper: Like oh my gawd! They like want me to be late? This is like, so TOTALLY irritating. Like, gag me with a spoon.
