Why do they do this? Unless I am missing something, the cuts had nothing to do with Maori. What do they hope to achieve? All articles of this nature will do is cause more division in an already divided society thanks to Ardern.
@Light42Lime
Because it's all about THEM.
They're victims because they're Maori and nothing else.
Their vicitimhood is worn as proudly as an oversized tiki.
@SonofOmahu
Why don't they simply feel agrieved for everyone? Why do 'they' always feel more for Maori? When people lose jobs I feel for all, I don't feel more, or less sorrow, for those of a certain ethnicity over others. It's about humanity.
@SonofOmahu
Maori broadcasting appear to be under no threat at all, because it gets plenty of taxpayer funding, but it's totally ignored by the rest of the media
@libertyscott
This government doesn't want another fight with Maori.
Though to be fair, the money given to Maori TV is wasted.
Those millions could be spent much more wisely on an all-online product.
@SonofOmahu
They are culprits of their own demise.
Pushing Maori language, mixed with English language so people like me, who only spoke English, didnt know what the story was, and so switched off.
@SonofOmahu
Narcissists have an overblown sense of self-importance. They fantasise about glory and being held in high esteem. They believe they are owed something.
@SonofOmahu
To be honest I found Sunday was getting increasingly more woke over the years. In the end it just seemed they were pushing a particular agenda.
