If you ever commission someone, Please pay them for their time. Even if u didn't like what they made.
You saw their work, you commission them, you asked them for many revisions and in the end not pay and ignore them. It's honestly not okay.
JUST FOR CONTEXT: It happened to one of my friends just recently. The client asked my friend for many revisions and my friend wasted hours and hours on that thumbnail and in the end, has not gotten paid and ignored just because he (The client) didn't "Like" the thumbnail.

I always make sure that the payment is upfront, and send them some pictures of the process before finishing it to see if they like it. It’s better to do it that way that have them pay after or add watermarks and remove it when you get the payment.
@SoftGB
sadly for me
it's the opposite
after I paid them, they can take 2 months to finish my commission and some even lost contact after I paid them (and they were legit artist)
@SoftGB
This happened to me before and the client said this to me. "I should be paying for what I like, what I want."
like bruh. I did everything he said and at one point he even said he didn't know himself, and said "just make it look better"...
@SoftGB
I have to disagree. I've made many things for others and sadly it's how it goes. You dont buy a drink at starbucks if you dont like it. You'll just have to try and find another buyer.
@SoftGB
Happened to me all the time before I started doing upfront. At one point when I asked them to pay me for my time they called me a scammer even though they hadn’t even paid anything. I was the only victim there.😐
