It’s perfectly normal practice for many decades for Perm Secs to be moved by new government and/or new minister if the PM feels they will ineffective or obstructive. Nothing new here.

You’re right. That will have been an unfair dismissal.
But there’s a cap on compensation for ordinary unfair dismissal and it is not huge. He’ll have been paid that and probably more.
The real question is: how much taxpayers money has been expended to remove his expertise?

Fascists do what they like and place the onus on the individual to take action against them. They bank on the individual becoming disenfranchised as the process is laborious and time consuming

There will never be a tribunal because HM G will never go there. They will settle out of court and he can write his own six figure cheque.
