@sheeraf One thing we don't know but may very well be likely is that hospitalizations of kids are up bc cases are up. It doesn't mean the RATE of hospitalizations are up. It could still well mean your child is very low risk for serious Covid.

Parents of kids under 5: how are you coping with the news that cases among kids are rising with Omicron, and the one thing you can do to help (vaccinate) isn’t available for your kid? Also- does any of the data parse out hospitalization of kids by age group?

@sheeraf With that in mind, we're taking the same precautions we've been taking all along (masking indoors) but also letting our kids have a life. Your kid is probably still at higher risk of getting v sick from RSV than Covid.

@Shayndi Right, I’ve got so many questions about the data. I want to know if the hospitalizations are up more in kids vs previous surges, and itemized data in kids under 5. Ie a baby nursing from a mother who has been vaccinated vs a 4-year-old who had not.
