Ridiculous that anyone would act like this at any game but especially a game involving 9-12 year olds
People that do these things (and you know who you are) ruin the game for so many others

It’s wild. Did some officiating for 9-10 year-old rec basketball a few years ago — and parents/coaches were absolutely ruthless, especially considering I was just 19 trying to make some extra cash. Quit after one season.

thank you! at the end of the day, these games carry NO weight in regards to the course of these kids lives….maybe the parents think so, but no unfortunately not. i feel bad for the kids and for the future of GLL’s reputation

We have to be honest with ourselves, here. What is happening with the ump quality in that league this year is unacceptable. I’m not justifying what these people did, but some of these umps need to be held accountable. They can’t be given free reign to run kids’ games.
