@red_in_p1 @Electronic_Beef @Formula24hrs You’re assuming he wouldn’t be stuck in the DRS train like Lewis was, but if he didn’t have the start advantage, he wouldn’t have escaped the DRS train requirement as he wouldn’t have made up as many places if Sainz & Riccardo didn’t crash,

Fernando Alonso on Lewis Hamilton's 2022: "This is F1... When Senna won titles, he had the fastest car. When I won two titles, I had the fastest car... Now he may be able to race very well, but he will cross the line in P13. That's just how it goes". []

@Electronic_Beef @Formula24hrs You can see how much of an advantage & grip those who started on the cleaner side of had during the launch & George was lucky to be in a solid position when Riccardo crashed into Sainz, not saying the kid isn’t talented, he is super, just more luckier here than his teammate.

@SarveenMahendr1 @Electronic_Beef @Formula24hrs and here is how they finished.. still without the start advantage and Ricciardo incident, with the kind of fight he gave to Bottas, George would have outperformed lewis in imola..
