Travel not going as expected but

found a solution to get us out of San Luis Obispo today.
Went up to the gate agent and she asked how she could help me. I said “Yes, what kind of coffee would you like?” She looked at me like 🥹

Original flight was full and the aircraft was too heavy to take off on the short runway in the weather conditions.
They deplaned half of us, pulled around another plane and found another crew within 2.5 hours.
