This past month I've realized that "freedom of speech" is only applicable if you're white. If you are a person of colour who also dares to speak up and challenge existing systems, you will be personally and professionally punished – even if what you are saying is aligned with…

@SamKrish_ Thank you for speaking up (as you have done since OCP started). Speaking up for human rights should not be controversial. 🤘🏼

@SamKrish_ @EVYSTADIUM This perfectly aligns with the "right to defend" in current context. A POC has no right to defend their own fellow POCs. Only the dominant white narrative & folks have earned that right to be victimized… And boyoboy, do THEY feel victimized & slighted!

The biggest lie the devil pulled was convincing us that the illegal invasion, occupation & apartheid never took place a few decades ago… and that how since then it's just one side earning the 'right to defend' itself by massacring the ones it invaded, occupied & partitioned.

@SamKrish_ This could definitely be considered whataboutism but I disagree in the sense that it isn’t just applicable to those who are white. I’m trans, I would not say I have the “luxury” of freedom of speech. I think that freedom of speech is only applicable to white, cis, straight men.
