Shinra was a net positive for humanity in the short run. He’s right. Even people in the slums lived relatively more extravagant lives than peasants in a non-industrial society, able to procure imports from other continents and make $$ to buy non-essential goods.
@Rooc40
Political extremism has made it impossible to make satire because no matter how much you corrupt and bend an ideology to make it look bad that there will always be some guy like "I think this is good actually"
@Rooc40
Shinra was definitely the bad guys but the story also really went out of their way to make the whole board of executives cartoon evil
May have been cool if Shinra truly did not know that Mako was draining the planet and killing it, just they thought they revolutionized the world
@Rooc40
may have been an unethical company
THEY KILLED MORE PEOPLE THAN THEY EMPLOYED
All of the plots of the games (on FF7 universe) happens by them
They stealed so many stuff from Wutai they needed to become a vacational place since they dont have more
Unethical experiments...
@Rooc40
Isn't shinra the same company that dropped a sector of the city on another sector of the city just to try and kill about a dozen terrorists rather than use their elite and highly trained paramility group to stop them.
@Rooc40
Shinra is a power company in a world where magic is real. Like people can literally generate fire and electricity with their bare hands but they pick the only power source that hurts the planet.
