Can’t tell you how many catty girls I had to deal with when I cosplayed Allura. And majority came from girls who weren’t even black lol. I used to be so excited seeing someone else love the character as much as I did to go through the trouble of making a whole cosplay! Like???

And this ESPECIALLY goes out to the “influencers” who walk around the con like they’re high and mighty because of a follower count. NEWS FLASH, no one gives a fuck and you’re at the convention doing the same geek shit as everyone else. Y’all need to get a grip. 😂

@rashiacasey I’ll NEVER forget being at the cosplay formal at AnimeNEXT, seeing a voltron group, going over to dance with them all hype like “ayyye!!” And ALL OF THEM moving away from me with the nastiest looks. Fuck all of them, honestly.

@RheaMorris_ A few years back I cosplayed Harley Quinn for Halloween, I was already pretty chubby and made my own costume cause I didn't have the money to buy it, this skinny younger girl in an 'official' full harley cosplay laughed and pointed at me, still affects me when i want to cosplay
