Belief that it's "always been Democrat seat"/ GOP party apathy.
The OKGOP seems to think they have too much of a majority as is. IMO That's why they are so desperate to make everything bi-partisan.
The Dem's fight for EVERY spot they can get. The GOP relies on numbers to win.

Oklahoma is a supermajority republican state with closed Republican primaries. Political affiliation by voter registration doesn’t always mean much here.

Sounds to me like the first move is to get rid of the machines that are causing a Republican represented district.. to insanely have a Democrat in that seat.
