You're required to have liability insurance if you own a car. How about liability insurance for all gun owners? The insurance industry would destroy the gun lobby. Anyone who wanted to own a death machine could still buy one. They'd just have to pay the real cost of owning it.

Look at Alex Jones living large and unaffected while Sandy Hook families go unpaid. White men/companies aren’t held accountable like minorities.
