Adding an extra “jump” vein graft to to the LAD in a heart struggling to come off cardio-pulmonary bypass after revascularization can make the difference between life and death.

@ZakiAlzaher Yes. It is amazing how a little added blood flow to the LAD can bring a dead heart back to life.

@RakanINazer Before the usage of the LİMA graft we have to measure the flow. The main problem in this situation is insufficient flow of the LİMA, techniqual problems or LAD distal site of the anastomosis. That’s why the place of the LAD lesions is very important.

@AlborsJose This technology is good but not good enough. It tell you that you have flow only. It doesn’t tell you where it goes and what happens down stream in the coronaries. Combining intra-op angiography with augmented reality is the way for the future.

@MSharifuzzaman1 After the extra graft it came back to life like a completely different heart. It’s amazing the difference it made. Shifted to ICU without support.
