But thanks to the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, this virtual rotation movie has been composed.

Still kind of amazed that this thing is only as big as Australia. Always thought the moon was bigger, like a half-sized earth.

Fun fact: If you close one eye and stare at this it will look like the Moon is 3D.
