@RAZ0RFIST I dont understand why people think a civil case would dismiss a criminal case, criminal cases are in the hands of the prosecuting attorney and grand jury. Michael tried to postpone the civil case until the criminal case went to trial, the judge for the civil case denied it.

@RAZ0RFIST @tajjackson3 At that time, although not normal, civil cases were allowed prior to the criminal cases in CA. This is no longer allowed. Defending yourself in a civil case, whether you are innocent or not, prior to a criminal case is like letting the other side see the answers to your test.
