If you are american there is literally no reason for you not to be armed if you can be imo. Everyone on my street is armed even the nice white 75 year old quaker lady that lives next to me

Actually, there are absolutely exceptions here, of people who legally can arm themselves but should not: those who canโt be responsible/safe with guns and those with a propensity to self harm (or harm others). People with anger issues should not arm themselves.
