@PsychSocIreland What's being done to ramp up capacity to accommodate the huge wave of mental illness crises to emerge after Jan 20? I trust the mental health community is preparing for such an inevitable outcome, similar to what happens to a victim when their abuser dies—en masse.

@PsychSocIreland And don’t forget the absolute disgrace that is voluntary Assistant Psychologist posts. You’re expected to be qualified up to Masters level & yet you’re still not deemed valuable enough to be paid. And this from a field that claims to espouse the highest ethical standards #rtept

@PsychSocIreland &ifu not among select few whose post-grad fees paid by arraignment with HSE/Uni/Colleges, u pay all expensive postgrad fees yourself&placement4free &then u discover after punishing yourself2tick all the right ECTS, societies/recruiters have their own exclusionary logics. Rigged?
