@Dwightdagreat That's why the stadium should've never been built there. Better solution was keep the original Hayward, put "Nike Stadium" in an easier to reach place to grow the sport.

For USA’s the flights to Eugene was $1100 to $1500. By the time you get a hotel for 2 or three days that’s another 1k, rental car $300 food $100 now you’re looking at between $2200 - $3000. College athletes have a major edge. Only the top echelon of “pros” can afford the trip.

@Powell2daPeople @Dwightdagreat There a plenty of great stadiums that COULD host if they wanted, but they have to jump through hoops and funding to make it happen. That's why cities don't bid on it. Eugene is far but you will have similar issues regardless of location with the current business model.
