Addendum: Lorenz finally responded on Twitter to this story, in a manner very much in keeping with her established style. I find her lack of a mental concierge remarkable, almost as remarkable as her continued ability to survive professionally without one.

If you block them first, then when people quote tweet you can still see it, and unless they have already interacted with you they really can't block you back. I do shit like that all the time.

Those of us blocked by TL (plus millions of others) agree.
Surprising how many accounts have a "popular tweet" they thought everyone would ignore or might not even be worth tweeting in first place.
You bridged the invisible line between truth, humor and satire.
