musicians responding to reviews is good, actually. did the critic get something wrong? correct them! disagree with an assertion? share your own! but thats not what we get. we get ad hominem insults because we didn’t like something enough to appease their ego.

I give this post 3/10. Mainly for the terrible grammar- how does a professional writer not know that sentences begin with capital letters? A rushed effort that feels akin to emotional crayon scribblings from a Year 5 student. Mr Ruiz is an editor in urgent need of an editor.

I’ve learned to accept that our perception of our work and it’s reception exist in different worlds. The second of which we have neither control, nor claim over. Agree, disagree, or learn, then move on.
