Not according to this doctor. They said they’d only send it to my child’s current doctor.
It’s an experience that we’re still navigating over a decade later. 🤷🏻♀️

My child had that same “rash” for months, was sick for every meal, our doctor avoided us for the first month, then started to send us to 3 different specialists, who found nothing.
Now, that same doctor refuses to send me a copy of my child’s file.

That is illegal! They're required to send you your child's medical records and I believe it has to be within 30 days. I'm also so very sorry that happened to your child I hope that she's okay now ❤

Unfortunately your MD is legally protected to refuse access to your child's medical record. One common excuse they use is only referred MD's get MR. Try any out/in patient facility's your child was seen. Ask for a medical record request in Medical Records not administration.
