First hot day of 2023 and people were out enjoying parks & beaches across the city. We love to see it.
What we don't love to see is mess afterwards. Please pack out what you pack in & dispose of garbage properly. We work hard to keep parks clean but everyone has to do their bit.

Often garbage bins are full and overflowing when I want to use them. Does the Board have any plans to improve this issue?

Sanitation has added additional bins & increased service to popular areas. Together we will be monitoring these areas and adjusting service as needed. Our crews start at daybreak but with such large amounts of litter, it can take longer to complete the clean up than normal ^EC

Maybe you should issue more littering tickets.
A total of 2 tickets between 2018 and 2022 doesn't cut it.

Thank you for you garbage collection effort from Monday 10:30 to 12:20. That should cover our needs for the week, provided people cooperate for the first time in history.
