Only half of them are probably telling the truth… stop going through the dealership to get approved, get pre-approved from your bank/Credit Union and I guarantee your car payments will be lower with a low interest rate but of course they not gone tell y’all that
For the people saying “do the math” buying a NEW car for $40k+ is a CHOICE! I’m speaking for the average person who’s looking for an affordable/reliable cars who think they don’t have other options, stop tryna make it about anything else… tweet muted dumb fu*ks

My sales rep kept asking me who I was financing with and when I told him I had my own loan he was like “ well let just see” and sent me over there anyway.
@Liseeystrap
Whoever you bank with has an option on their website to apply for an auto loan… you apply, it ask a couple questions like loan amount needed and your income, etc then they review your application (shouldn’t take no more than a day) and they give you an amount you’re approved for

I don’t know how true it is but someone told me that by law you aren’t even required to put a deposit down on a vehicle. Can someone respond if it’s true or not? Only because the person I know didn’t even put one down for there previous or recent vehicle

On top of that , don’t tell them you have the guaranteed money. IF THE PRICE OF THE CAR ONLINE IS $16k THE CAR IS 16k. Don’t let them try to get that $16,000.01 - if they do WALK OUT. That ain’t the only dealership with that car.
